Privacy Policy, Terms & Data Security
This document outlines how Tfifc Technologies Private Limited (“Taxian,” “We,” “Us,” or “TFIFC”) collects, uses, and protects Your information when using Taxian’s mobile, website, and web app (“Platform” or “Services”). By accessing or registering on the Platform, You consent to the collection, storage, and use of Your data per this policy, in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its associated rules. If You do not agree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms govern Your use of Docufied (https://www.taxian.in/), a platform developed and owned by Taxian (Tfifc Technologies Pvt Ltd). All Content, including designs, graphics, code, and trademarks, belongs to Taxian. By using Docufied, You agree to these Terms. If You do not agree, do not use the Site/Service.
This Agreement, along with any referenced documents, constitutes the entire agreement between You and Docufied, superseding any prior agreements. Taxian reserves the right to modify or discontinue any Docufied service at its sole discretion.

Service terms for service users
The Party agrees to integrate the API into its system at the designated touchpoints where user interactions or activities occur and build proper connectivity. The Party acknowledges that, in the event of any activity between the Party, it shall accurately share the necessary user details in order to require document retrieval. This obligation applies whenever a specific user activity necessitates document verification services. Furthermore, the Party agrees to ensure that the integration is consistently maintained to facilitate the efficient and accurate processing of such requests.
Our API is provided solely for the purpose of facilitating document verification and related services as defined in our agreement. API Consumers may not use the API for any unauthorized, illegal, or unethical activities, including but not limited to data scraping, reselling access, or processing data beyond the intended scope. API access is granted on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis, and any misuse may result in immediate termination of access.
API Consumers must follow ethical business practices and refrain from any deceptive, misleading, or malicious activities using our API. The API should not be used to process or transmit sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for verification purposes. API Consumers must ensure that any subcontractors or third-party entities accessing user data via the API comply with the same security and privacy standards.
API Consumers must implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls, and secure storage, to prevent unauthorized access, misuse, or leakage of user data. API Consumers are strictly prohibited from sharing, or using user data collected through our API for any purpose other than document verification. Any data breaches or unauthorized access incidents must be reported to us immediately, and API Consumers must take necessary remedial actions.
The Company acknowledges that all document verifications conducted through the API are the sole responsibility of the API users and their clients provided by customers. However, API service designed to facilitate the verification process using documents sourced directly from government databases via DigiLocker, and Taxian does not view, alter or modify these documents in any way. Taxian disclaims any liability arising from the use or reliance on the documents verified through the API.
Privacy terms for service users
We reserve the right to monitor API usage and conduct audits to ensure compliance with this policy. If we detect any suspicious or non-compliant activity, we may request corrective action. API Consumers must cooperate with any investigations or audits related to data security and privacy compliance.
Any violation of this policy, misuse of the API, or failure to comply with data
protection obligations may result in immediate termination of API access and legal action where
necessary.
API Consumers acknowledge that they are solely responsible for any legal or regulatory consequences
arising
from improper use of our API.
The Party agrees that if they choose to discontinue the use of Taxian’s API, they must provide a minimum of 30 days’ prior written notice. Additionally, The Party identifies any limitations or areas for improvement that could prevent discontinuation, they shall first notify Taxian and allow an opportunity for resolution.
The Company agrees to treat all information provided by Taxian, including but not limited to technical, non-technical, pricing, rates, business information and financial data, API specifications, and any other proprietary information, as strictly confidential. The Company shall not disclose, share, or distribute any such confidential information to any third party without prior written consent from Taxian. This obligation of confidentiality extends to all employees, agents, and representatives of the Company who have access to such information.
The Company shall use the confidential information solely for the purpose of integrating with our API and shall take all necessary precautions to protect the confidentiality of the information, including implementing appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
The Company agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary information received from Taxian. The Company shall implement and maintain appropriate security measures to safeguard confidential information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
The Company shall ensure that all employees, agents, and representatives who have access to confidential information are made aware of their obligations to maintain its confidentiality and are bound by similar confidentiality obligations.
We reserve the right to update this policy periodically to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or best practices. Continued use of our API after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.By integrating and using our API, API Consumers agree to abide by this API Usage & Data Protection Policy and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.
This Agreement will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties and their successors and assigns. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the state of Delhi, without reference to conflict of laws principles. This document contains the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements (whether oral or written) concerning the Confidential Information. Nothing in this Agreement shall imply any partnership or joint venture between the parties or be construed as making either party the agent of the other party. Any failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision. This Agreement may not be amended, nor any obligation waived, except by a writing signed by both parties. This Agreement may be executed in two or more counterparts, each of which is deemed to be an original, but all of which constitute the same agreement.
