This Privacy Policy sets out the manner in which Tfifc Technologies Private Limited, having its place of business at F01/02, Salcon Rasvillas, D1, Saket District Centre, Sector 6, New Delhi, Delhi 110017 (“Taxian”, or “We”, or “Us” or “TFIFC”), collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from the users of mobile (“You”, or “Your”, or “User”). This Privacy Policy applies to Taxian’s mobile (“Platform” or “Services' or “Taxian'), and services offered by Tfifc in connection with the Platform. By using or by registering Your profile with the Platform and/or by using Services offered in connection with the Platform, You are consenting to the use, collection, transfer, storage, disclosure and other uses of Your information in the manner set out in this Privacy policy.
This document is published in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act of 2000 read along with its relevant rules including Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and amendments if any.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Policy explains our practices concerning the personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us. If you do not agree with this policy, you should not use the Platform.
This privacy policy is subject to the Platform’s Terms of Service.
If You do not agree with any of the provisions of this Privacy Policy, You may not download, install and/or use the Platform and/or Services. Tfifc may revise, alter, add, amend or modify this Privacy Policy at any time by updating this page. By updating, downloading, installing and/or continuing to access/use this Platform, You agree to be bound by any such alteration, amendment, addition or modification.
By accessing, downloading, or using the website or the allied mobile application, Taxian (Application) you agree to be governed by this Privacy Policy.
1. Privacy of Users
Tfifc takes the privacy of its users seriously and exercises its best efforts to protect their private data/information. Tfifc endeavours to provide a secure and reliable environment for using its Platform and Services. Any private information collected by Tfifc from You will be used only in accordance with this Privacy Policy provided hereunder.
This Privacy Policy sets out what information Tfifc collects from You, how that information may be used, how the information will be protected, and what choices You have as a user. You are advised to read the policy carefully and provide Your consent only if You agree with the terms of the Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 At the time of registration: When you choose to register on the Application, we will seek certain identifiers which qualify as personal data (as defined at law), and some of these identifiers will have to be mandatorily collected, and some will have to be collected only upon your discretion, and consent.
2.2 The information which you provide to us, mandatorily are:
2.2.1 Taxian App complete users registration in two steps
Step 1:
Users initiate the registration process by providing their mobile number for OTP verification, entering their name, and creating a password, which is encrypted for security purposes.
Step 2:
The registration process includes PAN verification, designed specifically for taxpayers and ITR filed citizens of India. Taxian utilises the Income Tax Department licensed ERI Partner APIs to authenticate users. During this step, users are required to enter their PAN number and Date of Birth. For user consent, an OTP is sent to their mobile number and email address registered with the Income Tax Department portal. Upon successful verification, Taxian receives the following information about the users: name, mobile number, email id, TDS status (signified as 'N- non-paid' or 'Y- paid'), TCS status (signified as 'N- non-paid' or 'Y- paid'), DividendGross status (signified as 'N- non-paid' or 'Y- paid'), and ITR status (signified as 'N- Not Filed' or 'Y- Filed').
Access to the app is granted only to users with 'Y- paid' status. Taxian collects users' mobile number, name, PAN number, date of birth, and TDS, TCS, DividendGross, and ITR status (signified as 'N' or 'Y') during this verification process.
3. Purposes Information
The information which you may choose to additionally provide, are: Name and Profession other details: for purposes of displaying on your profile;
3.1 User handle preference: for the purposes of identification on the Application;
3.2 PAN authentication verification : for the purposes of allowing activation to services of taxian.
4. Verification
At the time of profile as taxpayer or itr filed authentication – In order to give you access to privilege products and services of Taxian, Taxian authenticate whether individual paid tax/file ITR or not that verify your profile, we may collect the following information from you:
Mobile number: for Login, forget password and otp sending; Email ID: for service updates; PAN Number: enable services as unique identification; DOB: Terms of Service require people to be over a minimum age to access our app or website.Taxian do not retain access to your tax-related information. Through the Income Tax Department's authorised ERI APIs, our system can only authenticate whether 'Y' signifies payment of tax or TDS or Dividend or TCS or filing of an ITR, while 'N' denotes non-payment tax or TDS or Dividend or TCS or filing of an ITR.
5. Services
Information from your use of our Services – Taxian is a thoughts and opinions platform and its features allow you to customise your content feeds based on your deletes. We do not store any information contained in the SMSes. This service helps us to make Taxian App more relevant and engaging for you.When you use our Services, we may collect the following information automatically: Content of the Taxian (text);
6. Surveys
We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback(s), modify your content or email preferences, respond to surveys, provide comments, or communicate with us. This information may include your name, e-mail id, PAN Number, mobile number, etc. and only such information that you may choose to specifically provide to us.
7. Sharing User Information
7.1 We work with our corporate group and select third-party partners or business associates who help us provide, operate and improve our Services. Also, when and where required by law, we will share your information with law enforcement agencies or regulators, and with third parties pursuant to a legally binding court order.
7.1 Tfifc does not sell, trade, or rent Your personally identifiable information collected by Tfifc to third parties except as provided in this Policy. Tfifc may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personally identifiable information, regarding visitors and Users with Tfifc’s business associates, partners, contractors, affiliates and advertisers.
7.1.1 At times, Tfifc may be required by law or litigation to disclose personal information about the Users. Tfifc may also disclose information about the Users if Tfifc determines that for national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance that disclosure of the information is necessary.
7.1.2 Tfifc reserves the right to transfer the Personal Information of users to another party as a result of a business partnership, contractual engagement, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of Tfifc's assets to another party, and under such a circumstance, the provisions of this privacy policy will continue to apply unless You are notified otherwise.
7.1.3 Part of the Platform or the Services may contain advertising information or promotion material, or other material submitted to the Tfifc by third parties. Responsibility for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the platform complies with applicable law is exclusively on the party providing the information/material. Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of advertisers including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. Before relying on any advertising material, you should independently verify its relevance for your purpose and should obtain appropriate professional advice. We shall not be responsible nor liable for any loss or claim that you may have against an advertiser or any consequential damages arising on account of your relying on the contents of the advertisement.
7.1.4 Tfifc may combine Your personal and other information across the Platform and Services in order to provide offers, promotions and information that is most relevant to Your interests, likes and/or preferences. Tfifc may also combine information You share with TFifc on the Platform and with respect to Services with information You have provided to third parties, who have been authorised by You to share the information with us, for providing content, advertising, promotions, and offers, and for improving User experience on the Platform and Services. Eterno may share Your information with third parties, who have Your information, and who are authorised to combine information.
8. Disclosure Of Information
8.1 We may also disclose your Personal Information only:
8.1.1 As required by law, such as to comply with a judicial order, executive orders, requirement by a law enforcement authority, or by other legal processes.
8.1.2 When your desired products and services can only be provided if your personal information is disclosed. When we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or, investigate fraud or crime;
8.1.3 If we (or our affiliates) are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets or equity. Such information shall be disaggregated to the extent possible and shall be subject to execution of appropriate non disclosure agreements and binding privacy undertakings.
8.1.4 We will never rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others.
9. User Rights On Tfifc
We want to ensure that you are fully empowered on the Tfitc platform and are completely aware of the rights that you are entitled to in the course of using our platform. You have a number of rights in relation to the information we hold about you.
9.1 Access- The right to access the information we hold about you, and to obtain details of the processing. You also have the right to access a list of all the third parties that have your Personal Information through us.
9.2 Rectification- The right to seek, correct, update and modify the information available with us, to ensure accuracy.
9.3 Cancellation- The right to seek to cancel or erase, free of charge, your personal data when it is inadequate, excessive, or unnecessary. This shall be subject to lawful processing measures and any legal prescriptions.
9.4 Objection – The right to withdraw your consent to our continued processing of the information, at any point of time, subject only to any legitimate reason for continued processing in certain circumstances.
9.5 Portability – The right to seek from us your personal data to be provided to another service provider, in a machine-readable format that we use at the time the request was made.

10. How Long Will Your Personal Information Be Stored With Us?
10.1 In relation to other Personal Information, we store them for certain predetermined periods on the basis of:

10.1.3 de-identified or pseudonymised data sets to be used in an aggregated format for scientific, statistical or historical purposes. We retain the information which we have collected for a period no longer than is necessary, and as may be required in law. Account Deletion
At Taxian, we value your privacy and want to ensure that your experience with our platform is both safe and secure. If you decide to delete your account, here's what you need to know:
What Happens When You Delete Your Account:**
1. Display Name, Member ID, and Public Profile:Your display name, member ID, and public profile will no longer be visible on Taxian, Taxian for iOS, or Android. This means that other users will not be able to see your profile information on the platform.
2. Data Removal:All data associated with your Taxian account will be permanently removed from our servers. This includes any information you have shared on your profile, messages, bookings, and any other data related to your account.
Account Restoration
- If you accidentally or wrongfully deactivate your account, you can restore it within 30 days of deactivation. This means that you can regain access to your account and all associated data if you change your mind about deleting your account.
How to Delete Your Account:
- To delete your account, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Taxian account.
2. Go to your app settings.
3. Select the option to delete your account.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion of your account.
Important Note:
- Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure to download any important information or data before deleting your account.

12. The Security Of Your Information

Specifically, we will ensure that the security infrastructure put in place by us to safeguard your Personal Information against loss, unauthorised access, destruction, use, processing, storage, modification or de-anonymisation, will at all times be adherent to the best industry standards.
We restrict access to personal information to Company employees, contractors, and agents who need that information in order to process it.
